Cormac Long is an IP Networking Consultant with over 20 years experience in the provision of technical support, strategy and design solutions for large and mid-sized organizations in Europe and the United States.

While based in Silicon Valley USA, he provided advanced IP design, implementation and troubleshooting services to a list of clients that includes Pacific Bell, MCI and Bank of America.

In 2000 he founded Ard Ri Communications Ltd headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. Ard Ri Comms provide IP network design, support, Security and network auditing services. Cisco Certified technical training services are also provided along with customized training solutions. The company has a broad customer base that includes most major communications service providers present in the Irish market.

Cormac has completed Cisco's Instructor and CCIE certifications and his main specialities include Cyber Security, IoT and Virtualisation. He has contributed to numerous industry papers and books and he is the sole author of "Cisco Internetworking and Troubleshooting" and "IP Network Design" both published by McGraw-Hill. He holds a B.E. in Electronic Engineering from NUI Galway and a Masters Degree in Telecommunications from University College Cork.
